Tonight the Smarts joined us for dinner and then after dinner we made cookies. OK and RS have developed a cute little friendship. It is so fun to watch them interact and laugh at one another. Both girls really enjoyed using the cookie cutters and helping to decorate the finished cookies. OK spent more time eating the decorations than decorating the cookies, but everyone had a great time. Here are some pictures. Thanks to the Smarts for such a wonderful time.

Disney on Ice
My sister was taking CPW to see Disney on Ice and asked us to join them. OK did so great at The Little Mermaid on Broadway that we knew she would love to go. She has had a rough weekend with teething and diaper rash so this was a great treat. I teared up watching them look with amazement. They loved every minute of this wonderful display of Disney characters. The costumes and props were as amazing as you would expect from anything Disney. The show was based on an adventure that Mickey, Minnie, and their pals were going on. They had scenes from The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Lilo and Stitch, and Peter Pan. At the end OK looked at CTW and I and said "I really liked it." She told Aunt KK thank you for the ticket. She clapped during the entire finale. CPW really enjoyed it as well. I think she may want to be an ice skater now. I love having a child so that I can go back and enjoy my childhood all over again. Here are several pictures.
Jumping
OK's new thing is to try and jump. She really thinks she is doing it but she can't quite get her feet off the floor. A couple of weeks ago, I watched the twins while their mom went to the doctor. They are the sweetest and think OK is hilarious. MP loved to watch her try to jump and laughed the whole time.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!
Okay, so I got fussed at for not updating my blog. There are several new posts so make sure to check them all out. We have been busy so far the fall and I have made sure to take my camera.
Our friends The Smarts, cousin CPW, and Aunt KK came over to go trick or treating. We had a wonderful time. We taught OK how to say trick or treat and of course thank you. She did so good and loved picking her own candy out and putting it in her bag. We enjoyed having company and got to know some of our neighbors. I love having a child because I get to do the things that I loved so much as a child. It is so much fun and so exciting to get dressed up and go out and get candy. I can't wait for Christmas. I hope you all had a great Halloween.
The Fall Festival
Every year our church throws a fall festival as part of the outreach plan to the community. They have inflatables, free food, and tons of games for the kids. We have gone every year since we have been members. OK slept through it last year but she got to enjoy it this year. We couldn't get her to go on the slides or any of the other rides, but she did play the games in the preschool section and ate hotdogs and candy. We had a blast.
Boo in The Zoo
Monday, the 19th we took OK and CPW to the Greenville Zoo to celebrate Boo in the Zoo. We hadn't been before so we didn't quite know what to expect. We had a great time. We let OK walk instead of pushing her in her stroller. She had a blast chasing CPW around and collecting her candy. Only a few animals were out, I guess due to the amount of candy making its way through. It is really nice to live near a city that does so much for the public.
The Pumpkin Patch
A few weeks ago our Sunday School class went to the Pumpkin Patch. We had a great time and enjoyed it so much. The man doing the hayride was little crazy with all the information that he passed along, but OK did well. Here are a few pictures.

Fun on My ATV
Grandma and Papa bought OK a Barbie ATV for Christmas last year. She loved riding on it then while I pushed her around in the living room of our house, but she didn't quite get that if she pushed the button that it would go. A few weeks ago she discovered that she could make it go herself. She hasn't quite gotten the turning of the wheel thing. This afternoon while CTW and I did some much needed leaf raking and gutter cleaning, she took off down the sidewalk and also did a little off-road riding. I have put two videos below. CTW kept calling her Evil Canevil because she would stand up and take off. She had a lot of fun and we laughed alot. I just love these fall afternoons.
Dancing Queen
While I cook dinner or clean the kitchen, I usually turn the CD player on. I love the Praise Baby CDs because I know the songs and OK loves them too. Here is a little video of her singing along and dancing. Before you criticize me for letting her stand on the counter, that normally doesn't happen. She was up there getting wiped off after supper and turned the player on(yes, she knows which button to push). CTW was standing close by and making sure she didn't tumble off. Enjoy!!! Hallelujah, Your Love Makes Me Sing.

Family Trip to the Georgia Aquarium
I have been meaning to post these pictures for a while. A couple of weeks ago CTW took a much deserved week off from work. Our original intention was to go away for our anniversary, but we decided we needed more family time close to home. We had a great week. CTW got to sleep in most days and I enjoyed having the help with OK during the day so I could get some things done that I don't normally have time to do.
On Wed, we got up and made the trek to Atlanta. OK did great in the car. She slept some and watched her favorite movie, The Little Mermaid on her portable DVD player. We ate lunch at the famous Varsity(yummy, yum) and then we headed over to the aquarium. We found cheap parking so we were really excited. We had been told by lots of people not to go to the aquarium during the weekend, also lots of people told us it wasn't worth the money. I have to disagree. I have been to the aquarium at Charleston and Myrtle Beach and this is by far the best one. There were so many fish and exhibits. The employees were amazing and very informing and the Titanic exhibit was there so we got to view some of the things they were salvaged from the wreckage. The place wasn't crowded at all so it was a great idea to go during the week. OK was able to do a lot of walking instead of riding in her stroller all day. She loved walking up to the tanks and pointing. It was way fun and so exciting to see her amazed by God's creation. I love aquariums and zoos so I was extremely excited. CTW enjoyed it to and of course the good food we ate. We ended the day by riding around downtown Atlanta and then finding a Cheesecake factory in one of the malls nearby. I have included a lot of pictures below and also one video of her viewing the Elephantfish exhibit. I hope you enjoy.
