Fun on My ATV

Grandma and Papa bought OK a Barbie ATV for Christmas last year. She loved riding on it then while I pushed her around in the living room of our house, but she didn't quite get that if she pushed the button that it would go. A few weeks ago she discovered that she could make it go herself. She hasn't quite gotten the turning of the wheel thing. This afternoon while CTW and I did some much needed leaf raking and gutter cleaning, she took off down the sidewalk and also did a little off-road riding. I have put two videos below. CTW kept calling her Evil Canevil because she would stand up and take off. She had a lot of fun and we laughed alot. I just love these fall afternoons.

Dancing Queen

While I cook dinner or clean the kitchen, I usually turn the CD player on. I love the Praise Baby CDs because I know the songs and OK loves them too. Here is a little video of her singing along and dancing. Before you criticize me for letting her stand on the counter, that normally doesn't happen. She was up there getting wiped off after supper and turned the player on(yes, she knows which button to push). CTW was standing close by and making sure she didn't tumble off. Enjoy!!! Hallelujah, Your Love Makes Me Sing.

Family Trip to the Georgia Aquarium

I have been meaning to post these pictures for a while. A couple of weeks ago CTW took a much deserved week off from work. Our original intention was to go away for our anniversary, but we decided we needed more family time close to home. We had a great week. CTW got to sleep in most days and I enjoyed having the help with OK during the day so I could get some things done that I don't normally have time to do.

On Wed, we got up and made the trek to Atlanta. OK did great in the car. She slept some and watched her favorite movie, The Little Mermaid on her portable DVD player. We ate lunch at the famous Varsity(yummy, yum) and then we headed over to the aquarium. We found cheap parking so we were really excited. We had been told by lots of people not to go to the aquarium during the weekend, also lots of people told us it wasn't worth the money. I have to disagree. I have been to the aquarium at Charleston and Myrtle Beach and this is by far the best one. There were so many fish and exhibits. The employees were amazing and very informing and the Titanic exhibit was there so we got to view some of the things they were salvaged from the wreckage. The place wasn't crowded at all so it was a great idea to go during the week. OK was able to do a lot of walking instead of riding in her stroller all day. She loved walking up to the tanks and pointing. It was way fun and so exciting to see her amazed by God's creation. I love aquariums and zoos so I was extremely excited. CTW enjoyed it to and of course the good food we ate. We ended the day by riding around downtown Atlanta and then finding a Cheesecake factory in one of the malls nearby. I have included a lot of pictures below and also one video of her viewing the Elephantfish exhibit. I hope you enjoy.

The Next Michelle Wie???

CTW's dream is to play on the PGA, maybe he will get there someday, but if he doesn't maybe he can live his dream through our little princess(although, I think she will be like me and not have an ounce of athleticism in her).

Our Little Princess

I have been trying to get her to say Princess on the camera for days and this is not the best footage but she finally said it. She was actually sitting in my lap playing with the lens cap so she is really close to the camera. Oh and by the way enjoy the concert.

The Quickest 18 Months

Why is it that when we were younger time went by so slow and now it flies by? I feel like the last year and a half never existed. I can't believe that OK is 18 months old. We went to the doctor today for her well checkup. She weighed 21 lbs 1 oz and is 30.5 inches long. I can't believe my 4 lb baby now weighs five times that. She is amazing. Learning new words everyday. She now mimics everything we do. She is obsessed with The Little Mermaid. She loves playing in her kitchen, singing, dancing, and running from one end of the room to the other. Hopefully we won't have to go back to the doctor until she is two.

Info for Charter Communications Customers

I called Charter tonight to make changes to my service since my promotion ended. (most of you know how much I love talking to Charter employees on the phone(NOT!!)) After a lovely conversation, (and I actually mean that, the guy was great) he told me about a new promotion that Charter has just started. For every dollar that you spend on services(before taxes and fees) you get points added onto an account and as they add up you can make purchases from a catalog or register for prizes. I went and checked it out and it is legit. All you have to do is go to www.liveitwithcharter.com and register. As you pay your bills it will add the points to your account. I guess we should get some added benefits since we pay so much for cable and Internet. I already do a program like this with Pampers and Coke so I am so excited. I just thought I would share this information for those that are interested. After a long and frustrating day of having the hot water heater replaced after discovering it was broken, this was a little bit of good news. I hope some of you will take advantage.
